Amanda Higdon, OD, is a native of Grayson County and a graduate of Grayson County High School. She graduated from the University of Louisville with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. After graduating from the University of Louisville, she attended Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. As a student Dr. Higdon was awarded outstanding clinician her fourth year and received membership into the Golden Key Honor Society.
Dr. Higdon is a member of the American Optometric Association and served on the Kentucky Optometric Board of Trustees from 2010-2013. Dr. Higdon and her husband reside in Franklin, KY, with their three children.
